I teach as a freelancer in my home village of Eynsford, both at the local primary school (Anthony Roper) and in various other venues for older pupils and adults. Please visit the Private Tuition page to find out more; including about fees and availability.
I also run a wind band for adult beginners and lapsed learners called Tutti Wind Ensemble. Its all very relaxed and anyone can join in as long as they can play a scale and are willing to learn!
I am the Music Director for Sevenukes (Sevenoaks Ukulele Orchestra), which is a gigging ukulele ensemble that rehearses weekly in the town of its name. We have a strong focus on personal development, which is reflected in the way I incorporate teaching into the rehearsals.
Another ukulele ensemble that I rehearse is the Darent Valley Youth Music Ukulele Orchestra. This ensemble is split into two groups according to age and experience and overall our members range from 8-18. We learn everything from pop music to film scores, but to be fair, I usually just print the music and these guys do the rest- such talent!
